Anonymous asked: this will probably be a REALLY awkward question, but oh well. I decided this weekend that I'd start getting healthy and exercising, but last night I fell down the stairs and there's a giant, painful bruise on my ass. can either of you think of any good exercises I can still do? it hurts to sit on it or stretch it out too far (for example touching my toes standing up hurts a LOT). thank...

roadtoaesthetics asked: for the anon who just asked about eating after working out.. your deficit isn't suppose to be too big. You should still be fueling your body adequately.. for example someone could be eating 1600 cals daily but still be getting a big deficit. It depends on you and your body. As for eating after working out, you really should. You've depleted fuel and your body needs that fuel back. Not...

Anonymous asked: I've heard so many different things, so I just wanted to ask you ladies. Are you supposed to eat after a workout? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of burning off some of the calories you ate? And wouldn't it decrease your deficit calorie loss, making you lose less weight? Thank you, and happy holidays!

Having A Tough Time This Holiday Season? 75 Things...
fitvillains: The holidays are happy times for most people (even if they’re stressful, they’re certainly NOT unhappy). But for some, the holidays can be a reminder of things lost, life situations that are less than ideal, and a time when you feel more like crying than singing carols. If you’re one of those people, you might need some extra help feeling okay this holiday season. Try to remember...

Anonymous asked: To the person running on the treadmill at 3mph and a 6 incline - run faster on no incline. Running up hills is less effective at burning fat than it is at building muscle. So while you're losing fat, you're gaining just as much muscle (which is why you're toning). To burn the fat off and slim down, rather than bulking up, run raster and without the incline.

skinnyinspirations: No excuses, admit it. You’re the reason you eat bad food. And you’re the reason you don’t exercise. It is purely your choice, and if you really wanted to change, you’d find a way. But you’re also your solution. You’re the only person who can control what you put into your mouth. And you’re the only person who will get you up in the morning. Fix yourself, because you’re the...
