beautyembrace:

It’s okay to wear lots of make up, just like it’s okay to wear none at all.

It’s okay to shave your legs, and it’s okay to let your body hair grow out as well.

It’s okay to cut and color your hair, just like it’s okay to leave it natural.

It’s okay to wear short skirts and tube tops, and it’s okay to wear pants and a sweater.

Do what makes you feel comfortable, not what society or others expect of you.

Ok, I eat very healthy; mostly fruits, vegetables, tofu, multi-grain, water, healthy fats, the occasional goodies, ect. I exercise everyday for 30 minutes; I do my own circuit training with jogging in between each of the sets. I have began this lifestyle since early April. Everyone tells me how much weight I lost, which I notice I'm stronger, I can feel abs, but the stomach fat is still there. What I want to know is am I doing anything wrong? Or am I just not giving it enough time?

You seem to be doing everything right, unless I’ve overlooked something… that damn stomach fat is so annoying to get rid of but I think you just need to give it time and bump up the stomach exercises a bit!

I owe you guys a lot, this blog gave me so many great ideas about healthy living. I just wanna ask what do you think of dukan diet? -only protein no carbs or veggies and fruits- I am thinking to give it a try but I have many doubts :/

I’ve never heard of it before so I can’t say anything about it but I can say that I always have doubts about diets. Maybe one of our followers can help you out more.

What do YOU eat before you go running?

I don’t eat before I go running, it makes me extremely nauseous.

Hey - what are your recommendation for a someone wanting to add a lifting routine to their current workouts? I run/swim/bike and feel like i should be adding some weight training to the routine. Any tips/resources i might find useful? I feel lost when I walk into a weight room and end up doing random amount of machine work... Help!

Sorry, I’m no help because I don’t go to a gym! I do know you can ask someone who works at the gym or someone who’s already in the weight room to help you out so you can get started. Sorry, I can’t give you tips!

A while ago, you guys linked to this great video to get rid of muffin top, but I can't find it anymore. Help?

Well there are plenty of videos, I’m not too sure which one it is but if you looked through our answered asks it’ll probably be in there somewhere.

how can I stay fit on vacation?

Well it depends on where you’re going and what’s around you, like are you by an ocean, going to a hotel with a pool, etc. If you’re by an ocean/pool, you can go swimming or try running at the beach, you can do mini exercises in your hotel room, like push-ups, light jog in place (in case you’re above someone’s room), tricep dips, calf-raises, lunges, squats, etc, basically all those little exercises you had to do in gym class, lol.

I hear that whole milk, cheese, yogurt, ect is better for you because the fat helps you digest the protein. Fage Greek Yogurt (8 oz) has 23 g protein and 9g sugar (lactose) but you can't digest all that protein without the fat and whole milk vs skim or 1% percent is only 50-60 cal difference. Should I drink whole milk now? I usually drink almond. Skim stuff is more processed anyways

Honestly, this just confused the crap out of me. I never heard of that, but drink what you want. I never payed much attention in my science classes, but I’m quite sure we have enzymes that break down the protein.

claireruns said: This is complete bull. We have enzymes that are specifically produced to break down protein. If anything, dairy is harder to digest.

Don't feel like working out today?

faithandfitness-:

If you’re even HESITATING about not working out today because you “don’t feel like it” you need to go work out PRONTO!! I almost decided to stay in bed today instead of going to work out but I forced myself to do it and I feel amazing now! Sticky and sweaty, yes, but that’s nothing a cold shower can’t fix. :)

Have a good day everyone! Stay healthy.

Do any of you know of a simple quick and healthy recipe for french toast?

I’ve been craving it for so long and the last recipe I tried was just horrible, lol.

hi! do you think it's possible to lose weight by only riding a stationary bike, going for runs/walks, and using Wii Fit or will I have to sign up for a gym membership or invest in some other home gym equipment?

Yes, you don’t need to go to a gym to lose weight! Just make sure you switch up your exercise routine every once in a while so you don’t hit a plateau.

hey i looove fruits and i am trying to lose weight. But i heard it has too much sugar. It's just so easy to take an apple for a snack u know? What do you think?

Sigh, no, fruits don’t have too much sugar. You can take the apple as a snack, it’s just an apple, not a sugar filled candy bar. Eat all the fruits you want.
