“Is there anyway to get rid of the extra fat on the cheeks and underneath the chin/jaw line area? Is it something genetically or is it just something to do with diet? ---> (I am an average sized 17 year old girl at 5'6'' 145 lbs but I have really plumped up in the face... like my cheeks are much rounder than before and it seems that my once defined jaw line has begun to disappear.)”

It could be all three: genetic, diet, or just extra fat. If you’re already eating healthy and working out then it’s just some extra fat takin’ it’s good ol’ time going away or it’s genetic. You can do facial exercises (scroll down a little for them and there’s explanations/videos to the exercises).

“So a half hour of straight cardio is good right? then i took a few minutes to breathe and went straight to weights. sorry, i know i asked this all weird xD”

The way you asked it is completely fine!! That’s a good start! Next time you go to the gym push yourself to try and do more than what you did last time.. even if it’s just by a few minutes!

#question
“It is 12:00 AM is it too late to to run on the treadmill? I live in an apartment complex that has a gym.. also this is the first exercise i will be doing in a while (besides like 20 mins of uphill walking on campus everyday and 12 mile bike ride i did last week) how long should i walk/run on the treadmill and is it too late at night to do this? i want to lose weight, i weigh around 180 and am 5'4”

No it’s not too late. You should workout whenever it fits into your schedule but it’s usually recommended for most people to workout in the morning as opposed to late at night before bed. I would say walk/run as long as you can but aim for at least 25 minutes.
