“I'm 20, female, 100 lbs and 5'4". I want to start running to be healthy and exercise to possibly gain weight. What kind of running routine should I adopt? Is running every day for half an hour going to make me lose weight ( weight that I DON'T want to lose)?”

You should go to your local athletic store and try on different brands and see what fits your needs the best or find someone in the store to help you find a shoe that’s perfect for you. Most likely, yes, because you’re doing cardio. Try incorporating some different types of strength training into your workout.
