and my god, this is one good book. I have to put it down every time because it gets so suspenseful at certain parts and I just can’t handle it. I’m almost done with book 2, well, I still have a ways to go but still… Bigger Thomas is “cray cray”.

I’m like anticipating whatever Bigger does to Bessie because this is a summer assignment so I have a list of analytical questions and it asks “Is what Bigger does to Bessie worse than what he does to Mary?” So every time I read and she’s with him I’m just like DO IT BIGGER, DAMMIT, WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO TO HER!?!? I’m a bit past when he threatens her with a knife and I really thought he was going to kill her, but nooOooOo, I have to keep anticipating whatever he does to her, ugh.
