“Is a liquid only diet okay if you still manage to eat sufficient calories, proteins, fiber, etc?”
-Anonymous

I honestly don’t believe in doing liquid diets or just any type of diet. I just believe in changing your eating habits and make lifestyle changes. Diet = temporary, therefore the weight loss = temporary.

I’m sorry I’ve been behind on the blog everyone.. I’m super busy with school and getting ready for SATs.. everything is just so hectic lately I swear if my head wasn’t attached to me I’d lose it! If yous do have a question that does need to be answered right away you can ask me on twitter over DM or whatever and I’ll most likely answer you faster because that’s connected right to my phone. Please be patient and once again I’m sorry!

“so i've been overweight for basically all my life. (16 yrs) and well, i am not used to eating healthy or exercise. at all. and i was looking to you for some advice for a person who wants to become healthy and fit for the first time. (like tips on how to start it out). otherwise, a little push. thank you.”

Okay, so you should basically start out by trying to cut out sodas. Replace the soda, fruit drinks, and whatever other non-healthy drink there is with water. Cut down on the junk food. You can always still eat junk food, just try not to eat it so frequently. Start eating more fruits & veggies (this is like the easiest part because who doesn’t like fruits…can’t say that for veggies though). Switch from white bread to whole wheat/grain and regular pasta to whole wheat pasta. I’m probably missing some things, but you get most of what you should do right? For exercising, try going for a walk around your neighborhood for about 20-30 mins. a day. When you get used to walking, start going for jogs. We also have some exercises you can do, you can find them here. If you ever need anymore help, we’re always right here:)

“to the one asking why they're stuck at 140 lbs: it's probably because you've plateaued. basically your body has become used to what you're eating and your exercise routine so you need to change your workout to something a bit more intense or just work out for longer. :)”
